A vendor in Sichuan has become public enemy number one for many animal-loving netizens after pictures leaked online showing him using live creatures in tiny cages as targets in his ring toss game.
Here's how the game works: customers pay 10 yuan for eight plastic rings. If they are able to throw a ring around one of the cages, they get to keep the animal. Meanwhile the helpless woodland creatures can only look.
Unfortunately, the game is really difficult, so that means that most of the creatures are left to roast in the hot sun.
On Weibo, hundreds of users have weighed in to criticize the cruelty of the game:
