Thousands stroll across China's newest terrifying walkway built above 500-meter abyss in Chongqing

While thousands of tourists were flocking to Hunan's exciting glass-bottomed bridge, yet more thousands have been enjoying another of China's most exciting bridges, the new walkway over Chongqing's Qianjiang Guangyin Canyon.

Since it's official opening in January, the monstrosity has reportedly attracted thousands of thrill-seekers,People's Daily reports.

Located in the Wuling mountain range, the 8km-long bridge was estimated to have cost some 600 million yuan. It hangs -- excitingly -- over a 500-meter-deep canyon.

All in all, a fine way to appreciate the miracle of life this New Year's.
It'll have to compete with that other cliff-face bridge in Chongqing, though. The thrills just don't stop.
