A man in southwest China's Chongqing has created a spectacular hand drawing that graphically describes road test strategies, a local newspaper reports.
The man surnamed Zhang, a learner driver in his 50s, drew a 40 centimeter wide and 7 meter long strategic picture, illustrated with various detailed notes and specific graphic symbols, in order to pass the road test, Chongqing Morning Post said.
This is his first time taking a driving test. Zhang made the drawing based on specifications of the license test and detailed descriptions from guide books.
"He really loves handwriting and likes to think independently," said his family members.
Zhang's drawing has become very popular, with some netizens even thinking he is a cartography major.
However, some have posted snarky comments, saying that "Drawing this kind of picture is no better than more practice."
A road test examiner said, "I have confidence in him because he really takes the exam seriously!"
"The road test this year has greater focus on detail and practical ability. So would-be drivers should not only be familiar with road conditions, but also with vehicle status," he added.
