Although it is winter in the northern hemisphere now, you can experience the seasons of spring, summer, autumn, and winter in different places throughout China. Have a look at the wonderful places exhibiting the four seasons in China.

Cherry blossom trees in Wuliang Mountain, Yunnan Province



The winter cherry blossom trees are a unique species, and were planted at the tea plantation in Wuliang Mountain to shade the tea plants. It is estimated that more than 10,000 cherry blossom trees have been planted there.
In December each year the cherry blossom trees are in full blossom making the valley look like a beautiful painting. However, you only have two to three weeks to experience their beauty.

Sunshine and beaches in Sanya, Hainan Island





Sanya is located on the southernmost tip of Hainan Island, giving it a tropical monsoon climate. Numerous amounts of tourists are attracted to Hainan Island for its year-round sunshine, beautiful beaches, and coconut trees.
The amazing beauty of the island makes winter a remote memory. This is one of the places in China that isn’t polluted.

The ancient trail covered by maple trees in Wencheng County, Zhejiang Province




Late autumn is the ideal time to see the ancient maple trees in Wenchen County, Zhejiang Province, as their color is a vibrant red resembling red flames.
Is is estimated there are around 3,000 ancient maple trees in total. The beautiful scenery serves as inspiration for traditional Chinese painters.

Frosted trees in Jilin Province





 The frosted trees in Jilin Province are famous for their pure, elegant, and spectacular beauty. The frosted trees are well-known and are considered one of the most beautiful scenes in northern China during winter.
The frost on the trees develops when the winter fog condenses on the branches of the trees and freezes, forming white ice crystals.

Wooden houses in Beihong Village, Xiaoxue (Little Snowy) Township, in Heilongjiang Province


You can still find wooden houses in Beihung Village, Xiaoxue township, which is the most northern township in China. The serene beauty presented in the houses covered by snow will bring back childhood memories of fairy tales.
